Emma is a friendly & highly motivated Registered Dietitian & Nutritionist with over 19 years of post graduate experience. Emma graduated from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh in 1995 and has since gained  dietetic experience in both the NHS and private freelance sector. Throughout her 15 year NHS career Emma specialised in a number of key clinical areas including nephrology, gastroenterology, upper GI Cancer surgery, bariatrics, critical care, neurology and elderly care.

In 2010 Emma left the NHS to establish a high quality client focused Nutrition & Dietetic Consultancy - Emma Carder Nutrition. She is passionate about her work and now works throughout the UK as a freelance dietitian. Emma plays an active role in promoting evidence based nutrition via a variety of  social media platforms and by co moderating the monthly twitter chat RDUK. Emma has also spoken on Sky News and local radio.  When Emma isn’t working she is busy being a mum to her two energetic teenage boys.
